All custom software we develop is built under a Work-for-Hire framework. This means full intellectual property ownership transfers to you upon project completion and final payment. We retain no rights, licenses, or claims to your codebase, architecture, or any proprietary algorithms developed during the engagement. A comprehensive IP assignment clause is included in every contract.

We offer three primary engagement models: Time & Materials (T&M) for exploratory projects where scope may evolve, Fixed-Fee for well-defined projects with clear deliverables, and Retainer for ongoing advisory and development support. PoC contracts typically follow a fixed-fee model with milestone-based payments to minimize risk and ensure accountability.

Our standard PoC engagement runs 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the complexity of the hypothesis being tested. The first week focuses on scoping and architecture design. Weeks 2-3 are dedicated to rapid development. The final week covers validation, benchmarking, and documentation. For more complex PoCs involving hardware integration or regulatory compliance, timelines may extend to 12 weeks.

Security is foundational to our engineering process, not an afterthought. We implement a zero-trust architecture by default, enforce code reviews with static analysis tools (SAST/DAST), and follow OWASP guidelines for all web-facing applications. Our infrastructure deployments include encrypted communication channels, secrets management (HashiCorp Vault), and compliance-ready audit logging. We support SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR compliance standards as needed.
